The BERGER – BOAT TAIL HOLLOW POINT (HT) design bullet has become very popular for long range hunting due to its unique terminal performance characteristics. A delayed expansion reaction happens, allowing the bullet to penetrate several inches before expansion. With a simple copper jacket and lead core, once the bullet starts expanding, it comes apart, creating massive wound cavities and devastating performance. This design allows the bullet to perform at longer distances and is velocity dependent, rather than requiring energy dependent. Our ammo is generally loaded longer than factory ammo, some cartridges may not fit in your factory box magazines. Please confirm our COAL measurement to will fit with your rifle.
